Pictures Add Soul

I wrote  Crossing the Bridge: Succeeding in a Community College and Beyond for one   reason, the desire to help students succeed during and after college. Of all the positive things about teaching, the students top the list. Working with people on the threshold of change is exciting, especially when they’re eager to learn.

When I was in the process of writing the book, a member of my writing group said, “Add more pictures. You need pictures!” And she was right. The pictures and the student quotes and stories add some soul to the book. The above photographs are a few of my favorite, each chosen for a specific reason. Enjoy! http://tinyurl.com/knss3mo
